Preserving the Natural Beauty of Segoro Wedi
On November 1–2, 2025, Abovee Outdoor organized a group hiking and mountain cleanup activity on Mount Sindoro via the Ndoro Arum trail. The activity was part of our effort to help preserve the mountain environment and restore the natural beauty of Segoro Wedi Peak, which had been affected by various forms of vandalism, including graffiti on rocks.
For us, hiking is not only about reaching the summit. Keeping the mountains clean and preserving their natural beauty is an important part of every outdoor experience. Through this activity, participants were invited to take an active role in protecting the environment and maintaining the mountain for future hikers.

Restoring the Beauty of Segoro Wedi
One of the main focuses of the activity was cleaning the Segoro Wedi area from traces of vandalism that affected its natural appearance. Rocks covered with graffiti were carefully cleaned as part of the effort to restore the area and preserve its natural character.
This activity serves as a reminder that mountains are not simply places to climb, but natural spaces that we all have a responsibility to protect.
A Small Step for Indonesia’s Mountains
Abovee Outdoor believes that every mountain journey can create a positive impact. Through activities such as group hikes and mountain cleanups, we hope to encourage more hikers to become aware of their responsibility toward nature, keep the trails clean, avoid leaving waste behind, and never engage in vandalism.
Because a beautiful summit is not only meant to be enjoyed today, but also preserved for the hikers who will come after us.
